We are a team of volunteer tutors who run a free six-week course – called the Expert Patients Programme – to help you rebuild your confidence and take more control of your health if you’re living with a long-term condition. It can help you to regain your independence, manage everyday situations and boost your mental health and wellbeing. Our course covers: dealing with pain and tiredness /coping with feelings of depression, stress and anxiety / relaxation techniques and exercise healthy eating / communicating with family, friends and healthcare professionals / planning for the future.
