Help getting healthy to protect from coronavirus

Public Health England is helping people to lose weight and protect themselves against the effects of coronavirus.

Nearly two thirds of adults in the UK are overweight or living with obesity. This extra weight means they are more at risk of coronavirus making them critically ill.

To help people lose weight and live healthier lives, Public Health England has launched a series on online tools and apps.

They will help you make healthier food choices, become more active and prevent future weight gain.

Later down the line, support will also be made available to help people quit smoking, cut down their drinking and look after their mental health.
