Fridays from 10:30 – 2:30. Each week participants can attend the Windmill Community Gardens to try a range of gardening activities from seed sowing to planting, maintaining and managing plants and vegetables throughout the season on our allotment, with the support and guidance of the WCG team. Gardening and getting outdoors can help to improve levels of stress and mental wellbeing. Those involved with the WCG Wellbeing Group often enjoy the chance to meet new people and gain skills or even try new food. These informal sessions are for people with mental health needs and must be referred by their GP or support worker. Please download the referral guidelines and application form from the website and send to Lorna Kane on the email address listed (or for an informal chat first please call her on 01843 280555)
